As the beach of Jimbaran indeed provides worthy attraction, it is no wonder that some villas in Bali have been available in the area for some times. Travelers can find here almost any kind of accommodations, from guest houses, home stays, hotels and villas. Most of Jimbaran villas are set up in the area around the village but some places are perched on the cliff at the southern part of the bay. Wherever the position is, the goal of staying closer to this beautiful beach is of course to have the faster and easier access toward the beach itself.
The first place that I would like to mention as an example is Ayana Resort and Spa. This property was called Ritz Carlton Bali formerly. Situated at the cliff, with a total size of 77 hectares of land, this giant resort has 290 rooms and suites. As per private villas, there are 78. As the resort is huge, it also has its own restaurants and cafes, which are five inside the compound. The famous Rock Bar is one of its 5 bars. Of course, there is also comprehensive spa complex in it. The rate is around $300, reasonable enough for average travelers.
And of course, when you are talking about Jimbaran, you should also talk about the iconic Four Seasons Jimbaran Resort. It is a competitor in many terms to Ayana. Perhaps, the best advantage of this resort is its location as it has a direct access to the sand of the beach itself. There are 147 villas, each comes with a pool or a plunge pool. A beach side cafe is available for the enjoyment during unforgettable sunset time. The other place that also has the direct access to the sand is Intercontinental Resort Bali, which is remarkable for its huge gardens and ponds.
A little further from the beach but with less roar as it offers only 13 private villas, Jamahal Resort and Spa is still promising with its in-house spa and lounge. Indeed, the property is still worth mentioning as it is designed as a chic, boutique complex suitable for stylish travelers. Private walled villas and cottages are available also in Jimbaran Puri Bali, which can be a good option when travelers are able to tolerate the communality of a hotel on certain hours. There are a giant communal pool, in-house spa facilities and a decent restaurant inside the compound.
But for a total privacy, of course the name Karma Jimbaran Resort is a must-considered. All of the accommodations in the complex are private places with three- and four-bedrooms. The beach is only two minutes away. The staff and management are friendly to gay/lesbian guests. Ocean view is available all the time here. Last but not least is Kupu Kupu Jimbaran Rooftop and Spa. It is generally a hotel suitable for couples. The location is unique as it is perched at the rooftop of the high-end Jimbaran Corner shopping center. The beach is accessed using a golf cart, three minutes from the hotel.
